Springer Wien New York

Springer Wien York is one the largest scientific publishers in Austria. Unsatisfied with its legacy system Springer entrusted 3rd Case Solutions to build a completely new web application for its company web-site. Adding several new features 3rd Case provided Springer with a new improved client software and the "business logic" necessary to run the site. The database had to be migrated and modified substantially. The layout was kept.

Ärztewoche

Ärztewoche is an Austrian newspaper for health care, health care politics and for management of physicians offices. It is the Austrian Medical Internet Portal hosting articles of Ärztewoche's print media, Austrian and international contents, categories to all medical subjects, medical calendar, index of Austrian pharmacies, links, medical online priodicals, network radiology ...

Böhlau Verlag Wien

As a subsidiary of Springer Bˆhlau received the same treatment and modifications as its parent company. Suggestions for an improved site architecture were made, Böhlau felt more comfortable with the old design though. The web application build for Springer and Böhlau layed the groundwork for our off-the-shelf product Scrift.

Institut für Philosophie

The Department of Philosophy of the University of Vienna uses a scaled down version of Scrift to manage and present the publications of its faculty.

Live in Niederösterreich

Live in Niederöstrreich is Austria's largest calendar of events and is hosted by the Festspielhaus St. Pölten. A web based interface allows organizers to submit events which are then imported directly into the calendar. On the intra-net-level event data can also be exported for the print edition of Live in Niederˆsterreich. The application was programmed in PHP and developed by 3rd Case from scratch. It layed the groundwork for our off-the-shelf product Eignis.

Integra Global

Integra Global is a health insurance agency specializing in insurances for US-expatriates living in Europe. The web-site makes it easier for users to find the product best suited for their needs and includes a small application that calculates the rates for a given product based on personal data entered by the user. The site was developed by 3rd Case from scratch. Further enhancements are being planned.

Sammelpunkt ist ein Online-Archiv für philosophische Texte. Es ist ein Projekt des Forschungsschwerpunkts "Wissenschaftsphilosophie und Theorie der neuen Medien" am Institut für Philosophie der Universität Wien und wird von einem Editorenteam unter der Leitung von H. Hrachovec betreut.

The Multidisciplinary Design Group of the Institute of Design and Assessment of Technology at the Vienna University of Technology seeks to merge substantive and theoretical scholarship at the highest level with a practical contribution to the design of information systems. At the heart of this work is a methodological commitment to participatory design and to situated experimentation with prototype solutions in different media. This also engages sociological interests in work and occupations, organisation and technology, and in gender studies. This institute uses Scrift for the management and presentation of publications.
